Assessment and Reports

VRA prepares comprehensive, written vocational assessment reports for the courts and benefits carriers.   Each report is individually prepared for our client; we never submit computerized transferable skills analyses.   Our goal is to identify suitable occupations; we do not label people “unemployable.”

We conduct a comprehensive assessment of the client’s vocational potential and any factors that may interfere with their ability to achieve their potential. Then, we identify the most suitable vocational options that remain open to them. When possible, we present a rehabilitation plan by which to achieve the specified goals, including an indication of timeframes, costs, and earning potentials.

Both standardized, psychometric testing and proprietary indices are available. Standardized tests are administered by qualified professionals.

A typical assessment includes:

  • History
  • Medical and Psychological Status
  • Pre-injury Career Path
  • Options
  • Rehabilitation Plan
  • Vocational Potential in the Future
  •  Wages, Salaries and Costs

Our reports for the courts are thorough, well researched and conservative.  We stand behind our opinions and will testify to them in court.
